Prophecy Fulfilled

Walla Walla

I just received this from another state.  Thought you might be interested.  Lois
Hi.  Here is a letter from a friend who lives at Walla Walla, and is very concerned with the things that are currently taking place there.       Spiritualism is doing it's best to take over, and it is coming from the top down.         Please pray that God's true people will stand firm for the right, and that God will protect them.  This is all very real!

Thank you.

Dear Friends,

The school year has started at WWU.  The first week the chapel was OK in terms of music though slightly disturbing in message.  This week however is week of prayer, meeting from 11:40 am-12:30 pm daily.  The music is awful -loud, "Christian" rock- the speakers are those that are leaders of the 'emergent church' within Adventism.          The message is very cleverly presented, only because of our Pastor's warnings have I been able to see their leanings (Last Tues & this Mon).  Our young people who are willing to take a stand, are able to get release from having to attend the music portion, though they must be in the narthex where the music is still heard, though admittedly not as loudly.

Please pray for both the group of those abstaining from the music & their ability to discern clearly between truth and error for the spoken portion; and for those who are completely naive about both.

Today's message (Tues) emphasized Jesus as being all you need (you get the Father since Jesus is the embodiment of the Father, and you can't get the Jesus without the Holy Spirit, so all you need is Jesus).  Things like 28 fundamental beliefs aren't important, and "God didn't give us a manual, He gave us a man" strongly implied that the Bible wasn't needed either.  Also, "relationships are messy, they change continuously."        It was a very disturbing message.  I really didn't imagine it was really that bad here!  Surely, we must be in the time of the end.

My heart wept as I looked out over the packed University church yesterday, and saw all those young people being led in the wrong direction.  I see nothing but prayer that we can do on the large scale.               On the small scale we plan to start a Friday evening Bible study & practical living discussions after we finish moving and get settled, hopefully by November.  There must have been 1500 youth there... they certainly won't all fit in my house!

Please pray for our family too as we try to understand the best way to implement this.

If you want to watch it live, the message below gives the information on it.  There are also discussions in other buildings about spiritual formation, homosexuality, and other disturbing topics, as though these were open for discussion...  There is also a tent for prayer for people to come to so they can be healed...  It is so hard to believe all this is real.

Sincerely,

C

“The things you have described . . . the Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation. Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. There will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses of rational beings will become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions. And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit never reveals itself in such methods, in such a bedlam of noise. This is an invention of Satan to cover up his ingenious methods for making of none effect the pure, sincere, elevating, ennobling, sanctifying truth for this time. . . . A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of Satanic agencies blend with the din and noise, to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirit's working. . . .   Those participating in the supposed revival receive impressions which lead them adrift. They cannot tell what they formerly knew regarding Bible principles.

No encouragement should be given to this kind of worship. Mar 234
