We need to examine what Kevin said just a bit more:

Kevin wrote: "

"Because today another flood is absolutely impossible, and God has promised there will be no more floods, but that next time the earth will be destroyed by fire."

We will give Kevin the "benifit of the doubt" when he says; "God has promised there will be no more floods, ..."  We think he is saying there will be no more world wide flood such as was in Noah's time because right at this very moment there are massive floods happening in many countries !

Someone on high ground took this fearful scene of the Indonesian tsunami of 2004 !

The judgments of God are happening around the world but like Israel of old the people do not repent !  "O' these things just happen, and have been happening for hundreds of years", they say and if they surive the disaster they continue right on in their wicked life !

"Israel repented not, nor learned the lesson that God would have them learn. They did not see that He who created nature controls her laws, and can make of them instruments of blessing or of destruction."

Prophets and Kings Page 125

This next statement is quite amazing also ! Kevin says:

"And so it was then that to avoid the deadly danger of that nature collapsing over the heads of man, man had to maintain a personal relationship and contact with God.  A contact with God, which God himself will never force upon the individual.  Now you see the situation and the principle."

Kevin, I am not a reader of science fiction, but this "situation and the principle." would surely be found in that category ! We certainly can not find it in The Word of God !

"nature collapsing over the heads of man" ?  We assume you are talking about the band of water above the "firmanent" ?

Yes, true, because men chose not to have a "personal" walk with God, they were destroyed by the flood, but : tell us please:

When Adam and Eve sinned, and soon after, Cain chose to walk away from God; why did "nature" not collapse over their heads right away, why did it take 1500 years, before it fell down on their heads ? What kept "nature" from collapsing ?  And second:, when the flood came, why did it come exactly at the end of the 120 years that God said it would come ?

And thirdly: Why did the "collapsing" take exactly 40 days and forty nights as God said the rain would fall ? Who stopped the rain after 40 days and forty nights ?

And fourthly: How did all the animals know when to come to the ark, and march into the ark during the final seven days before the flood ?

The answer is very simple and clear, but just like Ancient Israel you refuse to listen to the voice of The Holy Spirit when He said :

"My Spirit shall not always strive with man.....his days shall be 120 years....and every living ceature that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. "

Then Kevin says:  "when Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden God had every right at once to withdraw Himself from the scenes of this earth and abandon man to the powers of nature without the guiding, controlling hand of God.

Does nature have any power without the "controlling hand of God" ?  God says no !

‚ÄúThere is much talk about God in nature, as if the Lord were bound by the laws of nature to be nature's servant. Many theories would lead minds to suppose that nature is a self-sustaining agency apart from the deity, having its own inherent power with which to work. In this men do not know what they are talking about. Do they suppose that nature has a self-existing power without the continual agency of Jehovah?  The Lord does not work through His laws to supersede the laws of nature. He does His work through the laws and properties of His instruments, and nature obeys a "Thus Saith the Lord."

Not being able to accuse Satan of causing the flood, and dwelling on the the gentle, "Lamb of God" quality of God's Character and refusing to accept the "Lion of The Tribe of Judah" part of God's Character, these Brothers have "turned the Word of God into a lie" !  Not only is Christ the Loving and Gentle Saviour, but He is also the Judge.  Not only is He the Mediator in the Heavenly Court, and is pleading for His Blood to cover our sins, He is also  passing sentence upon the sinner who will not repent !  God forgives every confessed sin that we will put away from our life, but He can not excuse sinHe has declared that "the wages of sin is death".  "In his work Satan pretends to be very religious. He finds this the most effective way of carrying on the work he began in heaven. Under his guidance the "Christian World" has made void The Law of God by tearing down the Seventh-day Sabbath, and exalting in its stead a common working day. As men depart further and further from God, Satan is permitted to have power over the children of disobedience. He hurls destruction among men. There is
calamity by land and sea. Property and life are destroyed by fire and flood. Satan resolves to charge this upon those who refuse to bow to the idol which he has set up. His agents point to Seventh-day Adventists as the cause of the trouble. "These people stand out in defiance of law," they say. "They desecrate Sunday. Were they compelled to obey the law for Sunday observance, there would be a cessation of these terrible judgments."
